The honeymoon to the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean – revealed yesterday by the Mirror – is a first for royal couples who have traditionally posed for photos while spending at least part of the break in Britain.

The royal couple have snubbed an electric golf buggy in favour of cycling side by side on the unspoilt island in the Seychelles.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be completely alone on the isle apart from a few staff.

If there was ever a time to abuse their power, it's on their royal honeymoon. Kate and William can go anywhere in the world now that they're newlyweds and they've chosen North Island: a small, isolated archipelago in the Seychelles owned by a guy named Farhad Vladi.

"Yes, we rented the island to the British royal family," Vladi told a Hamburg newspaper. "Prince William and his Kate are spending their honeymoon there. But you will understand that we are not saying anything further."

Actually, he's already said enough. You'd think after brokering deals with Diana Ross and the Shah of Iran, Vladi would know how to keep a secret. The Royal Couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton decided weeks ago that they would postpone their honeymoon, it emerged yesterday. As the Duke, Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton enjoyed a quiet weekend at a secret location in Britain, royal sources said that Prince William and Kate Middleton would not be going on a honeymoon "for a few months yet".

When the Duke, Prince William goes back to work tomorrow, the Duchess will spend the next few days at their rented cottage in North Wales. "She will be setting up home, catching up with friends and family - settling into her new life," a royal source said. The decision to delay the honeymoon was one of the most surprising announcements of the wedding. The Duke, Prince William will be back at RAF Valley in Anglesey tomorrow, and remain on shift until Thursday.

With their wedding just five days away, Prince William and Kate Middleton are probably busy making sure every detail is taken care of.

Among those top-secret details could very well be diving equipment and swimsuits. The royal pair might be celebrating their honeymoon on Lizard Island, according to The Sunday Mirror. The island is one of many lining the Great Barrier Reef just off the Australian coastline near Queensland.

The Mirror informs the island is "tipped as the most likely destination." It can only be reached by a sixty-minute plane journey from Cairns. This oasis of sun and sand is not an improbable choice for the prince and his future bride.

Prince William, on a tour of cyclone affected areas of Australia, promised to return to the country within weeks with fiancée Kate Middleton, possibly for their honeymoon.

While speaking to well-wishers in Cairns the Prince said he would like to return to city to scuba dive on the Great Barrier Reef.

Ogie Alcasid and Regine Velasquez Wedding took place just this afternoon, December
22, 2010, at the beautiful Terrazas de Punta Fuego Beach Resort in Nasugbu, Batangas.

Two big names in showbiz industry, Ogie, 43, and Regine, 40, tied the knot in what has been dubbed by GMA 7 as "Wedding of the Decade".

Regine was so beautiful in her red Monique Lhuillier gown, which costs half a million pesos, and as you can see in the photo above, Regine was wearing a pair of black biker boots underneath.

As reported by GMA 7, President Noynoy Aquino was among the groomsmen along with Dingdong Avanzado, Michael V and Janno Gibbs.

No ABS-CBN execs were spotted at the wedding but GMA 7 bosses were of course there and even TV5 owner Manny Pangilinan, who were among the principal sponsors.

Other principal sponsors included Jose Mari Chan, Vicky Belo, Orly Ilacad, German Moreno, Vic del Rosario, Tony Tuviera and Sharon Cuneta (but didn't make it on the wedding day).
